Welcome to Pecan!
Ask about the event space, The Chestnut Event Space, in the backyard if you need a place with plenty of seating for your guests to gather! You can have meals catered there, fix your own food, & have a relaxing space where your large group can sit down in one area together. You may add The Chestnut Event Space for an additional fee.
This gorgeously renovated 2 story house has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and can hold up to 13 guests (only 10 adults). The porch has rocking chairs and a porch swing perfect for lounging out front with friends. The home is beautifully decorated with bold trimming that compliments the original charm of the home. There is plenty of space and seating throughout the house, so whether you want to hang out with family and play games or have a home-cooked meal, there is plenty of space for everyone! There are two full kitchens (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs). There is also a 12 cup drip coffee pot and single cup Keurig with a starter set of coffee, so the whole group can stay caffeinated! The house is also within walking distance to "The Strip" and Downtown Tuscaloosa, where you can find plenty of restaurants to eat, if you don't feel like using the beautiful kitchen!
Downstairs:
Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms. Each headboard in this home's bedrooms are custom made! The first bedroom has a King bed with a TV & attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, also with a TV & attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outside of the half bathroom there is a farmhouse sink that is original to the property and keeps the Southern Charm of Tuscaloosa! Downstairs also includes a cozy living room, dining room, & a spacious kitchen!
Upstairs:
The upstairs floor can be accessed through an interior & exterior entrance. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a King bed. Two of the bedrooms share a Jack-&-Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the other has its own bathroom. There is also a living room & TV, kitchen with appliances & all the utensils you will need-bar tables & chairs.
If needed rollaway beds can be arranged:
- 2 Twin XL rollaway beds Upstairs (one can go in back bedroom, the other can go in room with fireplace.)
- 1 Twin XL rollaway bed Downstairs (would have to go in the living room)
Outdoor Backyard Complex Escape!
The shared backyard complex is a wonderful place to gather! There are many fabulous amenities, including: Fire Pits and covered outdoor gathering areas. After grilling out back you can enjoy your bbq on the picnic table, surrounded by family and friends.
* Please be aware, the backyard is a shared space with the neighboring Oak and Magnolia houses.

*There are exterior security cameras located at the front and back of the property. These devices may not be tampered with, covered, or unplugged by guests.*
*All reservations made within 2 weeks of date of arrival are subject to require in person Government Issued ID verification.*
*If your selected property offers the use of (trundle beds, upper bunks of bunk beds, roll-aways, futons, or flip sofas) these beds will not be made up in advance. Linens are provided and should be stored with these beds.
*Please be aware that upon booking, you will be required to sign the Bama Vacation Rentals Rules forms and photo ID verification directly with our property management company texting system called AKIA.*
*A maximum of two pets are allowed with a pet fee of $100 per pet, per stay, plus tax. If you have additional pets, you must receive permission in writing from management and pay additional pet fees.*
*For stays that are longer than 2 weeks, please be aware that you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. All properties are required to be cleaned and inspected every other week.*

The house was perfect. The layout and cleanliness were spot on. Our group enjoyed the front porch and all of the welcome goodies. Plenty of space to spread out. We definitely recommend. Easy walk to the stadium for the game!

This is a beautiful historical home updated with all the luxuries that give it modern comfort. We felt so comfortable and at home here when we traveled here from Arkansas as our son was getting married in Tuscaloosa. Plenty of absolutely everything we could need in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Treats intentionally left for us to enjoy. We were all so pleased with the property, location, amenities, and the southern hospitality.

Absolutely perfect stay for my son’s wedding. Property was exactly as advertised. Easily accommodated my party of nine adults and two dogs. We were able to easily walk to downtown Tuscaloosa to all of the pre and post wedding get togethers. Really enjoyed the backyard space. Property manager was always quick to respond to our questions and made check-in and check-out easy. This is a 5-Star property for service, location amenities!!!

It was a wonderful home base for four couples in TTown for our daughters' Parents Weekend. The owners are so kind. The property manager is very responsive on text. They make sure you have everything you need. The house is amazing and updated by a really good designer. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and exquisite bathrooms. This is the best VRBO awe have ever stayed in for a reasonable price. The outdoor entertainment space it really nice. Fire pit, outdoor tv with couches and a picnic table for 25! Your large group will feel very comfortable here and with 2 full kitchens you can really have your own space. There is even a second living room with a couch and tv upstairs

The house is absolutely amazing. We had 3 couples in total and had plenty of "personal" space. The house seems to be recently updated and all the fixtures and finishes were well done. Very well stocked with everything you could imagine and there was a great mini bar area in the TV room. All the bedrooms were large sized and the bathrooms had enough supplies for the entire stay. The backyard was amazing...two fire pits, a large picnic table and patio with fans and a TV. Everything in the house was clean, they appliances were all new and it was just a 20 minute walk to the stadium. We will absolutely be back!
