Land of Oz

My family and I loved many things about the Land of Oz. This Condo was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and fully stocked. I can not say enough about how fully stocked this Condo was. The Hosting management company provided plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and garbage bags for our 4-night stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, silverware, cups, glasses, and baking ware. There was just about every small appliance you would possibly need. Tools were provided in case we decided to grill on the patio. What was incredibly nice was a highchair, and a step stool for our grandbabies was already in the unit. The Condo represented Alabama well in very subtle ways, from the color of the dishes and coffee cups to some pictures on the wall. I can not say enough about the view from the outside covered patio; that was serene, comfortable, and VERY spacious. We sat out there a lot. There are televisions in every bedroom, including the outdoor patio, with service provided through Xfinity. The Xfinity service allowed us to watch live TV without worrying about streaming from our devices or logging on to our streaming services, although that was an option also. The location was absolutely excellent and centrally located. This location is right above Another Broken Egg and the River. There is also a nail salon below the unit and a boutique and exercise business. It is right on the Riverwalk walking trail with a small playground for toddlers and seconds from being on the University of Alabama Campus, and minutes to the stadium. Additionally, there is an instruction book in the unit that explains everything you need to know about your stay in the unit. We hated to leave! I highly recommend this unit. Lastly, I can not say enough about the effective communication of the host. Effective communication is essential to ensure your needs will be met before, during, and after your stay. They are very responsive and have the best customer service ever!

We stayed here for the Tedeschi Trucks band concert at the Amphitheater and very much enjoyed being on the river with the trail leading to the venue. The condo was gorgeous and provided quality linen, comfy beds, every possible small appliance for cooking and spectacular views from the balcony. We were definitely impressed with everything this condo provided during our stay and the host was fantastic with communication. We would love to return for another stay and carry this condo with us to other cities. 10/10 we’ll be back!

Our experience at land of Oz was more than perfect. The accommodations fit our group and also was close to our granddaughters dorm room. Everything we did was easily accessible and quick to get to.

Condo was perfect! Beautiful view and great location. We had an issue with the smoke detectors in the condo and Kim was very responsive and helpful and the situation was rectified right away. We will definitely stay here again when in town. Thank you Kim!

What a great place! We loved the location and the views of the river are amazing! The house was adorable, and it provides quick and easy access to just about everything! Would definitely recommend!

The condo was beautiful and everything was as described! Very convenient to campus and to restaurants. Beautiful walkable path along the riverfront was an excellent bonus for us as was the deck overlooking the river! Kim was always checking in and communicating! The pictures do not do this place justice. It was amazing. This home is so cozy and warm. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was amazing, everything was spotless and the owners thought of every possible thing you could ever need. I was in complete awe of this home. And the river view...WOW!!! And the team was so responsive and caring!!I would stay again in a heartbeat!!

I did, and when we have a big family get-together in Tuscaloosa, we will choose one of their larger locations with a pool. Land of OZ was just as it was described. Location was perfect to visit UA. Clean and comfortable and even a basket of snacks when we arrived. We would highly recommend Bama B&B and this property.

What a great property overlooking the river and in close proximity to everything. The home was impeccable, well decorated and so cozy! We enjoyed every second.

This place went beyond my expectations, it was professionally run by Bama B&B and I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

This condo is our favorite place to stay when we visit our son at UA! The enormous outdoor space overlooking the Black Warrior River is incredible. We are able to host dinner for our son and his friends outside so comfortably. The place is beautifully decorated, the linens are A+ having the two outstanding restaurants right downstairs is fantastic! We will be back!

Kim was fantastic to work with for last minute booking for my son's graduation at UA. The condo was spacious, clean, well-appointed and situated in a beautiful setting along the Black Warrior River.
