The house was just perfect! We loved the location as it was close to our son’s apartment and all that is fun at UofA! The house is beautiful, has so many nice/fun amentiies and the back yard was so nice for us to hang out at. We were so appreciative of the hosts touching base to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect house close to campus to visit our son for a weekend. The kitchen has enough equipment to cook dinner at home and the living room is big enough for a group to lounge together. Walking distance to everything, but on a quiet street. Bama B&B is super attentive with any issues we have surfaced over multiple stays in different houses. Customer service is perfect!

This house is better referred to as a home. It comes very nicely appointed with just about everything you could possibly need from one end to the other. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to help you feed your family, the beds are comfortable, bathrooms well supplied with soft towels and other necessities, and having a separate laundry room is a nice bonus. Everything you need to provide a place for your family to truly enjoy the city of Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama is available. Our Bama Bed & Breakfast contact was incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had, and maintenance was quick to remedy any issue. She even took the time to make us aware of severe weather, and where we could locate the tornado shelter if needed!You’ve heard the saying “location, location, location”, and this house has it. An easy walk to Bryant-Denny stadium and campus one way or downtown for dinner at The 5 the other. We visited in early spring and walking among the blooming trees and spring flowers was a definite upgrade from the cold winter for this northern family! A quiet neighborhood during our time there.The only small negative we experienced, had nothing to do with the home itself. Fair warning to those that might not live near railroad tracks, or in town where dumpster trash pickup is a thing – trains come frequently, and the trash guys are loud. Some days, if the wind is right, you could swear the train is coming right through the back yard. And for reasons beyond our understanding, the dumpster service has determined the best time of day to pick up, shake violently, and slam down every single dumpster located on the street behind the house, is 3am on a Sunday! Both can be a little shocking, but Tuscaloosa is a city, so it’s going to have noises everywhere. The good people at BB&B have seen fit to provide noise machines in each of the bedrooms for those of us unaccustomed to such things.Other reviewers have mentioned the long list of rules for the house. Understand, this is a college town, with lots of large events as well as all the projects a city has going on, so the rules are for those idiots that don’t know how to be respectful of others property and take care of their own messes. BB&B needs to protect their properties, and laying out the rules in detail like a 2-year-old might need, helps them do that. Our family had no issues with any of the rules, and they were most accommodating when we made specific requests.This was the perfect place to stay, and we hope to be back!

It was a wonderful house, very clean, well stocked kitchen, and with extra touches such as power strips on the bedside tables. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Tuscaloosa. We would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at Myrtlewood Cottage. The house was perfect for our family by being in walking distance to the stadium and sorority houses. The family room was very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to make some home-cooked meals for our student. Loved the outdoor living space! And the beds were super comfy too. Thank you and Roll Tide!

The location and accommodations were wonderful. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool table! We had one small issue with the alarm code but it was very quickly resolved!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! This house has everything! Well equipped with all the comforts of home. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood, within walking distance to Bryant Denny Stadium and “The Strip”. My nephew especially loved the pool table. We had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!!!

Myrtlewood Cottage is a perfect location for events on the campus as well as quick and easy access to Downtown Tuscaloosa. The cottage is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, is well-appointed, clean, and well-maintained, and has a great backyard for entertaining/relaxing. Will definitely stay there again.

Great place, great location

Wonderful weekend stay for a UA sorority parent event. The location and proximity to campus and the Strip was amazing. The cottage was large, clean, welcoming, and had all comforts of home. Backyard was great for the dog and for drinking coffee or enjoying the firepit. The garage was a great bonus. Loved this place and would definitely stay again. RTR!

Everything was wonderful. The Manager Kim, was awesome! Great communication. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job. The property location is perfect and the home is beautiful.

Great house, super location. Just had problems with communication with booking staff since they were in the process of changing over their computer systems. But we worked it out and enjoyed a fabulous celebritory weekend with our daughter!!

This is such a fun house! The location is perfect if you are wanting to be near campus and the stadium. We took advantage of the pool table and outdoor fireplace which made our evenings fun and relaxing. We had everything we needed and more!

Fantastic place and great host! Huge main area is very open and perfect for a large family. Kitchen is great and very well stocked. Beautiful back yard with fire pit. Waking distance to the strip and the stadium. Fantastic home and location!
